Why It Sucks To Be Single
- Vacations are sold in packages for two.
- Cooking for one person is so pointless you might as well get a slice of pizza. It’s actually cheaper.
- Hanging out with a couple means you are the third wheel.
- No one goes to a restaurant to eat by themselves
- People ask ‘how is your dating life going?’
- You are the subject of lots of useless advice
- People think you are a pathetic especially if you are a girl.
- People tell you ‘hurry up, or else it will be too late to have children.’
- You have to clean your apartment all by yourself.
- Porn is not a substitute for sex.
- Coming to an empty apartment is depressing. Walls cannot talk back.
- Hanging out with co-workers and friends is not enough.
- People ask if you are gay.

I love being single, there are tons of great things about it. In response to some of your points: 1. That's why frozen dinners for 67 cents are so great. 2. I'll eat by myself at a restaurant anytime, it's great people watching. 3. Who cares what other people think about whether or not you are dating? 4. Like a man could clean my apartment... 5. Porn may not be a substitute for sex, but a vibrator comes close. 6. If you don't like an empty apartment, get a pet, or a phone. 7. By now it should be okay if people think you are gay. Some of my best friends are.

Also...you can be okay with going to a movie by yourself but you always get funny looks, you can't cuddle with your vibrator, and people always want to set you up.
The good thing is when people are breaking up, you can sit back, drama-free and be thankful you don't have to deal with that.

Some people do well alone and others don't. I suck at it, and I hate people who say that everyone needs to learn to live alone.
It's not that I don't know how to do it, or I don't appreciate my privacy or alone-time, I just totally HATE living alone.
I'm with you, sister. It sucks to be single.
